Webinar Set-Up Instructions

REL-NEI Webinars are held in EDC’s Adobe Connect Pro Virtual Conference Center and require:

  • a computer
  • an Internet connection
  • a telephone or speaker phone

Typically allow 10 minutes to set up the audio and online parts of the webinar. Follow these steps:

1. ONLINE/ADOBE CONNECT PRO SET UP

  • Go to: http://edc.acrobat.com/ldnells/
  • Type your name in the text box and click ENTER ROOM.
  • You may receive a dialogue box ADOBE CONNECT ADD-IN asking you to install the Adobe Acrobat Connect now. Click YES.

This may take a moment or two. When completed, a new browser window will open entitled
“Identifying Learning Disabilities Among ELLs”

2. AUDIO SET-UP

Once you have logged onto the Connect Pro platform, you will be prompted to enter your phone number. The system will then call you and invite you to join the audio conference. (This session is NOT VoIP enabled.)
