Vermont to Help Districts Buy Cleaner, Greener Buses
On July 21st, the New York State Education Department posted presentations from webinars that reviewed guidelines and regulations for Recipient Reporting on Recovery Funds:
On July 20th, Vermont’s Agency of Natural Resources announced that it is accepting grant applications from school districts interested in replacing older diesel buses with new, cleaner ones to help protect children’s health. The deadline to apply for the Vermont School Bus Replacement Program is August 3rd. Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, approximately $1.5 million will be used to reimburse eligible school districts up to 50 percent of the cost of a replacement bus.
