VT Commissioner Writes to Duncan on Small States

On September 1st, the Maine Department of Education posted the “School Administrative Unit Application for Funding under the State Fiscal Stabilization Fund Program For State Fiscal Year 2010.”

On August 28th, Vermont Commissioner of Education Armando Vilaseca sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan about the Race to the Top ARRA Grant Application. He addresses several issues including differences between small and large states, transformation of education, and the department’s limited resources.
