Connecticut Posts ARRA Funding to Date

On September 22nd, Vermont posted a Request for Information (RFI) for a Statewide Evaluation of ARRA/Title II, Part D Grant Programs. This document seeks an evaluation entity to oversee and manage statewide evaluation on the department’s Title IID and ARRA grant programs. This RFI outlines the needs of the service and solicits packets from the field that can convey an entity's ability to deliver this service for the state. This program is targeted to entities that have proven track records in this area and is not necessarily limited to Vermont-based entities. This evaluation program will draw on funds that are set aside in each of the ARRA and Title IID grant programs for this purpose. This RFI is not looking for proposals but packets of information showcasing the successful implementation and delivery of evaluation programs in the area of education technology. Proposals are due November 12th, 2009.

On September 23rd, Connecticut posted a Stimulus Funding Update for all ARRA programs. A detailed PDF of the education funding also is available.

On September 17th, the New York State Education Department posted a letter from Charles A. Szuberla, Jr., Executive Director, School Operations and Management Services, to ARRA sub-recipients of the NSYED regarding ARRA reporting. “Data reporting for ARRA funds that flow through NYSED will require its sub-recipients to submit a small number of data elements for the various ARRA funded programs that flow from the Department. Sub-recipients that receive funding directly from the federal government (e.g., Impact Aid) will not report through NYSED but will report directly to www.federalreporting.gov.”
