State Liaisons

State liaisons are the primary point of contact between REL-NEI and the states and jurisdictions in our region. Liaisons are senior staff at REL-NEI partner organizations EDC and Learning Innovations at WestEd. They bring extensive technical assistance and educational research experience to the process of developing working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders within each of REL-NEI’s nine jurisdictions.

The liaisons play the critical role of ensuring that the breadth and depth of the educational issues in each jurisdiction are well represented in the process of setting priorities for REL-NEI’s work. They also keep stakeholders abreast of developments within REL-NEI and the resources and support we can provide.
